“慢屋·揽清”是IDO元象建筑近年在云南大理完成的农宅改造为设计型酒店的建筑实践,从开始设计至施工结束的两年半时间里,元象建筑参与了项目的全过程,从策划、选址、设计、建造管理到酒店运营,其所承担的是兼具甲方乙方的双重角色。该项目作为以建筑师为主导的开发模式之尝试,在当前社会经济转型之大背景下,或可引发大众对建筑师角色定位的重新认识与思考。
“Slow House, Lan Qing” is the construction practice of IDO Yuanxiang Architecture’s renovation of a farm house completed in Dali, Yunnan in recent years as a design hotel. During the two and a half years from the start of design to the end of construction, Yuanxiang Construction participated in the project. The entire process, from planning, site selection, design, construction management to hotel operations, is responsible for the dual role of Party A and Party B. As an attempt to adopt an architect-led development model, this project may, under the current background of socio-economic transition, bring about a re-understanding and reflection of the role of the general public on architects’ positioning.
