海洋潮流能的开发利用,在国际上至今尚还处试验阶段,国家科委和国家海洋局,为了加速开发海洋能源,利用潮流能源弥补海岛能源不足,实现多能互补。10kW潮流实验电站,被列为国家“八五”科技攻关项目内85—19—06—03。为此,哈尔滨船舶工程学院承担了这一研究项目。我国濒临太平洋,海疆辽阔,沿海潮流能资源较为丰富,尤其是舟山群岛的1339个大小岛屿星罗棋布,岛屿间水道众多,受地形影响,某些海滨水道由于缩窄效应导致潮流流速较大,潮流湍急,舟山潮流能资源丰富,为全国之最,具备开发利用潮流能的优越条件。根据调查资料统计,舟山的26条水道合计理论功
The development and utilization of ocean current energy are still at the experimental stage in the world so far.
