机械式蠕变机断电样品保护装置可以在意外停电时,托住蠕变试验机砝码,使实验工件在无载荷的条件下冷缩,从而能够有效避免实验工件的非正常断裂。本装置主要由底座、丝杠和杆配合的升降机构、电磁铁、配重砝码、套筒装置、自锁装置、弹簧、和蠕变机砝码托盘等组成。套筒装置的一端连接着配重砝码,另一端连接着蠕变机载重砝码托盘,正常供电时,缓冲砝码被电磁铁所吸附,弹簧处于压缩状态,当发生意外断电时,电磁铁失去磁性,释放缓冲砝码,这时,由于弹簧自身对蠕变机载重砝码托盘的弹力作用,使载重托盘在套筒装置的导向作用下竖直上升拖住蠕变机砝码,保护实验工件。
