Meadow borers Loxostege sticticalis L. is an important and sudden pest in the agricultural and pastoral areas of northern China. Heilongjiang Province is a major hazard area for immigrants. After entering the third outbreak cycle in 1996, it has been harmed to varying degrees every year, Cycle time 5 to 7d ahead of schedule, the duration of the cycle has also been extended for 5 years. During this period, the total area of meadow moths in this province was nearly 13.33 million hm2, an increase of nearly 8 million hm2 over the previous period. The density of the first-generation larvae of meadow moths reached a maximum of over 10,000 per m2. In 2004, Within the area, there were over 100,000 headaches and more than 50,000 headaches in 13 counties (cities) in the country. According to the actual occurrence of Meadow Stem Borer in this cycle, the author analyzed the relationship between outbreak of Meadow Stem Borer population and the warming of climatic conditions, including the effects of weather, humidity, planting structure and natural enemies, and provided the basis for the comprehensive management of Meadow Stem Borer.
