在 VoIP 日益普及的今天,其通话语音质量不佳的现实成为了该技术遭到传统运营商诟病的一个最主要的原因。随着 VoIP 运营所面临的网络环境复杂性的增加,提高语音质量确实已经成为摆在运营商和设备供应商面前的一个不能回避的挑战。作为一家专门提供 VoIP 语音处理技术(主要为回声消除技术)的 Octasic 公司的 CEO,Michel Laurence认为传统的采用通用 DSP 来提升 VoIP 音质的方法已经不能满足人们的需求。
The growing popularity of VoIP today, the poor quality of its call the reality of the technology has been criticized by the traditional operators, one of the most important reason. As the complexity of the network environment that VoIP operations face increases, improving voice quality has indeed become an unavoidable challenge for operators and equipment vendors. As a CEO of Octasic, which specializes in VoIP voice processing technology (mainly echo cancellation), Michel Laurence believes that the traditional method of using general-purpose DSPs to improve VoIP quality is no longer sufficient.
