本文通过深入研究首尔东国大学的案例,探讨了大学作为大都市中心的新角色的崛起。首先,面对当前的新挑战,大学的传统角色和城市功能受到质疑。第二,本文综述了韩国现代大学的发展历史及其特点,并通过简单的统计数据显示了它们在全国范围内的分布情况。第三,本文还涉及了校园和城市在物质环境和功能之间的关系,并重点阐述了区位和地理概况、校园布局和物质空间特性,以及校园和社区整合等方面内容。本研究为建设综合性的大学城提出了新的规划议题,并为城市设计师、政策决策者以及社区领袖提出和实施一系列政策提供了一个平台。
This article explores the rise of the new role of the university as a metropolitan center through an in-depth study of the case of Dongguk University in Seoul. First, in the face of the current new challenges, the traditional role of the university and the function of the city are questioned. Second, this article reviews the history and characteristics of modern universities in Korea and shows their distribution across the country through simple statistical data. Third, the paper also deals with the relationship between the physical environment and function of the campus and the city. It also focuses on the location and geography, campus layout and physical and spatial characteristics, as well as the campus and community integration. This study proposes new planning issues for building a comprehensive university town and provides a platform for city designers, policy makers and community leaders to put forward and implement a series of policies.
