Editor’s Note: This year marks the 10th anniversary of the “Process Breakthrough” in the machinery industry. In this issue, a review article and 3 papers were published by the Technical Management Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society in Kunming last year to mark the anniversary . The “Process Breakthrough” advocated by the Ministry of Machinery Industry has proved its guiding ideology and 5 symbols after 10 years of extensive and cross-industry practice.
