在水土保持治沟骨干工程土坝设计中,坝址排水多为棱体式或贴坡式两种。这两种排水形式对砂石料较缺的地区来讲,由于砂、石用料较大,运距远,造价较高。据统计,在1986年黄河中游地区开展的40项水土保持治沟骨干工程中,修筑一处坝址排水设施——反滤体,花费资金为1.0~2.5万元。最近,宁夏回族自治区西吉县水土保持科学试验站工程技术人员,在工作实践中,摸索出一种新的、经济实用的坝址排水形式——“肓管”排水。这种排水形式造价低,施工简便,排水效果好,适合
