在当今信息时代的文明社会中,人们几乎随时随地可以从各种形态的图形符号的寓意,去获得与语言文字一样,其至更迅捷、更清晰、更具功效的信息。经济的发展,国际间的交流,拓展了人们的视野,标志设计被推向了一个新的阶段。正是基于这一认识,装潢设计家王凤仪先生感到从事系统标志设计理论著作的迫切与必要,集中全部精力十年如一日地潜心于“标志学”的研究。 1983年由上海人民美术出版社出版的《商标图案》,是一种既有深入理论、又有丰富图例的专著,填补了国内这一专业设计领域的空白。继此书问世后,王凤仪先生根据世界设计新的发展趋势,研究图形符号的历史,扩充公共标志系统设计和现代视觉信息传递设计的内容,于1990年初完成了《标志设计》一书,阐述了图形符号产生、发展和未来趋势的历史过程,分析了世界各类标志、商标及具体设计的表现形式和方法。对选用的标志均有详尽的注解和说明,堪称标志设计大全的袖珍辞典,
In today’s civilized society in the information age, people can obtain the information that is faster, clearer and more effective, as the language is, from the implication of various forms of graphic symbols almost anytime, anywhere.
