曾经风光无限的媒体如今日子越来越惨淡,曾经日被称为“无冕之王”的媒体人也沦为报纸民工,这个变化来得那么突然,来得那么措手不及,这个巨大的落差令所有当局者一度迷失,但短暂的无措后,我们冷静下来,开始思考,我们的报纸怎么了,是被新媒体冲击垮了吗?还是我们的产品过时了,被市场淘汰了?抑或是报纸进入了暮年,缺乏生命力了?应该说:报纸依然有盈利能力和空间,但盈利方式不再是过去完全靠广告的模式。
