明清社会对女性才学的推崇成为了一种社会风气,在这样的时代背景下,戏曲作品中出现了一批才女形象。这些才女不仅有作诗写文的才能,而且还有不凡的胆识和管理家庭及社会事务的卓越能力,实为前代作品中所少见。作为社会中最优秀的女性群体,才女们都在不同程度上表现出了对封建伦理秩序的认可与服从,但是在这个既定的社会性别体系内,她们还是在努力地寻找属于自己的一些生活情趣。这一时期的才女纷纷表现出一种“文人化”的倾向,她们不断地扩大着自己的社交世界并对伙伴式的婚姻充满了期待。这说明,才女们并无意颠覆这个男权世界,而只是想在自己有限的生存空间里得到更多的一些自由。
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the promotion of women’s scholarship in society became a kind of social atmosphere. Under this background, a number of talented women appeared in the operetta works. These talented women not only have the ability to write poetry, but also extraordinary courage and management of outstanding ability of family and social affairs, which are rare in the previous works. Talented women and girls, as the best female groups in society, all show their approval and obedience to the feudal ethical order to varying degrees. However, in this established gender system, they are still trying hard to find some lifestyles of their own . The talented women in this period all showed a tendency of “literati”. They constantly expanded their social world and looked forward to the matrimonial marriage. This shows that talented women do not intend to subvert the male-dominated world, but merely want to gain more freedom in their limited living space.
