The hot corrosion behavior of TiAl intermetallics in molten carbonate was investigated. TiAl exhibited good resistance to hot corrosion at 650 ℃ (Li, K) 2 CO 3, and the corrosion products formed mainly consisted of LiAlO 2 and Li 2 TiO 3. The lower layers are TiO2 and Al 2 O 3. The melting of Li 2 TiO 3 in the corrosion products at 750 ° C leads to significant weight loss
