The large and expensive indoor area is a major challenge for traditional fire safety systems because of the complex network of multi-stacked sensors required to effectively detect smoke. The beam smoke detector is designed to solve this problem. A single beam detector mounted on the wall can detect smoke levels up to 1500m2, reducing the number of detectors, increasing installation speed, reducing installation and cabling costs, and reducing aesthetic damage.
