针对GPRS无线网关中采用透明数据传输方式存在通信费用高、实时性差等缺点,以流量计的远程维护系统为实际应用背景,设计了一个多功能的GPRS无线网关。介绍了网关的功能,增加了一种多功能模式,在该模式下,网关采用预先主动采集流量计信息,并对其进行分析、处理,主动上传报告流量计异常情况的方式来提高系统的性能;以GPRS模块MC55和ARM微处理器LPC2368为核心,完成了网关的硬件设计,并详细介绍了以uC/OS-II实时操作系统为基础的网关功能的软件实现。在实验室环境下搭建维护系统平台,实验对比证明,多功能无线网关能降低基于GPRS的流量计远程维护系统的运行成本、提高响应速度及故障检测能力,效果明显。
For the GPRS wireless gateway using transparent data transmission methods, there are some shortcomings such as high communication costs and poor real-time performance.
