The Dongchuan copper ore field is located in the Kunyang Proterozoic rift in northeastern Yunnan Province. The ore body is stratified and appears to be stratified within the Kunyang Group Yinmin, Lodxu and Heishan formations. New evidence from petrology, mineralogy and geochemistry shows that the host rocks of volcanic rocks are volcanic rocks, volcaniclastic rocks and jet flow rock series.
