搜索引擎是人们通向网络的窗口,它决定着人们看世界的方式,但是搜索引擎展现的世界在很大程度上又被商业利益所控制,搜索引擎在为人类提供方便的同时,也让人类既有伦理遭遇到前所未有的挑战。对知识构建和信息资源入口的控制、检索结果的相关性决定、检索结果的显示方式、个人信息搜索引起的隐私保护是搜索引擎涉及的四个主要伦理议题。伦理的行动是为了制定新的政策和法律,以规范相应的社会行为。
Search engines are the windows of people’s access to the Internet, which determines the way people look at the world. However, the world revealed by search engines is largely controlled by commercial interests. While search engines provide convenience to mankind, Both ethics have encountered unprecedented challenges. Control of knowledge building and access to information resources, the relevance of search results, the way in which search results are displayed, and privacy protection caused by searching for personal information are the four major ethical topics covered by search engines. Ethical action is to develop new policies and laws to regulate the corresponding social behavior.
