Controlling the population and improving the quality of the population is a basic state policy of our country, and birth defects are an important factor that seriously affects the quality of the population. In order to further understand the local birth defects, Tai’an City monitored the birth defects of hospitals that have capacity for delivery in the city. The results are analyzed as follows. 1 Subjects and Methods of Study Target all hospitals with access to hospital in Tai’an City from July to December 1997
