目的 研究血管内皮生长因子 (VEGF)在垂体瘤中的表达 ,探讨VEGF与垂体瘤血管形成的关系。方法 采用免疫组织化学技术检测 42例垂体瘤组织VEGF蛋白表达和微血管计数。结果 VEGF蛋白表达阳性者 37例 ,阴性者 5例 ;微血管密度 (MVD)在阳性组为 47.93±15 .82 ,阴性组为 18.12± 4.39,两组差异有非常显著性 (P <0 .0 0 1) ;VEGF表达与MVD之间存在相关性 (r =0 .79,P <0 .0 0 1)。结论 VEGF存在于垂体瘤组织中 ,VEGF表达与垂体瘤血管形成密切相关 ,提示VEGF在垂体瘤中可能作为一种旁分泌因子 ,刺激肿瘤血管内皮细胞增殖 ,促进肿瘤血管形成。
Objective To study the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in pituitary adenomas and to explore the relationship between VEGF and pituitary tumor angiogenesis. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of VEGF protein and microvessel count in 42 cases of pituitary adenomas. Results The positive expression of VEGF protein in 37 cases and negative in 5 cases; MVD in the positive group was 47.93 ± 15.82, the negative group was 18.12 ± 4.39, the difference between the two groups was significant (P <0 0 0 1). There was a correlation between VEGF expression and MVD (r = 0.79, P <0.001). Conclusion VEGF is present in pituitary tumor tissues. The expression of VEGF is closely related to the angiogenesis of pituitary tumor. It suggests that VEGF may be a paracrine factor in pituitary adenoma and stimulate the proliferation of tumor vascular endothelial cells and promote tumor angiogenesis.
