本文旨在通过细致的图像分析来追寻一本西方版画集《世界城镇图集》~([1])在明清时期中国的流传以及演变情况,并联系到当时闽粤地区与荷兰之间的海上贸易的背景,勾勒出17-19世纪中国与荷兰之间的图像交流,最后以此来引发对于东西方艺术交流问题的思考。
The purpose of this paper is to trace the spread and evolution of a Western print anthology “World Town Atlas” ([1]) in China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties through meticulous image analysis and to link up with the then Fujian and the Guangdong regions The background of maritime trade outlines the exchange of images between China and the Netherlands from the 17th to the 19th centuries and finally initiates the reflection on the exchange of art between East and West.
