记者,是许多人都羡慕的职业。可是,要做一名合格的记者,却也不是一件容易的事。有一次,我到新闻学院去讲课。一位学生问我:你认为记者应当具备哪些最重要的素质?我说:第一,要有社会责任感,有一股革命激情。第二,要不唯上,不唯书,只唯实。第三,要勤奋,勤于学习,勤于采访,勤于思考,勤于写作。这当然不是新闻教科书上写的,而是我在工作中的一点体会。责任感、激情从哪里来? 我选择记者这一行,开始并不了解记者职业的真正意义在哪里,或许还受了当记者能成名成家、记者是“无冕之王”的影响。可是,当我到了工作岗位上以后,我很快就明白,记者也和其他行业一样,第一位的是责任。如果说,我选择记者这一行,当初带有 Reporter, is a career that many people envy.
