Net2Phone is a completely “free” piece of software (Figure 1) developed by IDT Corporation of the United States that makes it possible for people to use their computers to make phone calls to any ordinary phone in the world. We will Net3Phone as an example to introduce the working principle of IP telephony software: sound signals collected by sound card, packaged by Net2Phone sent to
