为配合淮河入江水道金湖段拓宽改造工程,淮安市博物馆于2012年10月~2013年9月对工程涉及到的区域进行了为期近一年的考古勘探和发掘工作,发掘清理战国、两汉、南朝、唐宋、明清各类墓葬近百座。塔集入江水道区域地广人稀、地理位置比较偏僻,自20世纪60年代以来,这一带不断发现分布密集的汉墓群,出土鼎、盒、壶、釉陶罐、铜弩机、铜鐎斗、铜洗等珍贵文物。从勘探清理的古墓情况来看,绝大部分墓葬已被遭盗扰并破坏殆尽,特别是东汉砖室墓无一幸免。这
