In 1946, the federal government of the U.S. established a goal to meet the health care needs of the dense population of the country, so that medical care will become a quasi-public welfare undertaking. In order to achieve the above objectives, various attempts have been made to promote the development of medical care through government support equipment development technologies, manpower development, and comprehensive service plans.
