今年以来,拉美经济继续稳步增长,其主要标志是: (一)国内生产总值连续第四年保持稳定增长势头。拉美地区国内生产总值平均增长率1991至1993年分别为3.8%、3%和3.4%。据联合国拉美经委会最近估计,今年将达3.2%。据估计,今年拉美经济增长最快的国家将是秘鲁(8%),其次是阿根廷(6—7%)。玻利维亚、智利、哥伦比亚哥斯达黎加四国的增长率为4—5%。巴西的增长率将略低于去年的4.5%。墨西哥为2%,高于去年。除委内瑞拉、洪都拉斯、海地三国的负增长外,其余国家的经济今年都有不同程度的增长。 (二)通货膨胀率明显下降,物价保持相对稳定。除巴西以外,今年拉美其余国家
Since the beginning of this year, the Latin American economy has continued to grow steadily. The major hallmarks of the economy are as follows: (1) GDP maintained steady growth for the fourth consecutive year. The average growth rate of gross domestic product in Latin America was 3.8%, 3% and 3.4% respectively from 1991 to 1993. According to a recent estimate by UNECA, it will reach 3.2% this year. It is estimated that the countries with the fastest economic growth in Latin America this year will be Peru (8%), followed by Argentina (6-7%). Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the four countries the growth rate of 4-5%. Brazil’s growth rate will be slightly lower than last year’s 4.5%. Mexico is 2% higher than last year. Except for the negative growth in Venezuela, Honduras and Haiti, the economies of the rest of the countries have seen some growth this year.
