郑天挺先生是国际知名的明清史专家,又是一生从事历史教学的教育家。他执教六十多年,有丰富的教学经验。他不但培养出大批的高等学校的历史教学和科研人才,对中学和小学的历史教学也非常关心。他对于大、中、小学的历史教学问题,曾发表过很精辟的见解,给我留下了深刻的印象。郑先生认为,大、中、小学的历史教学,应该各有重点,各具特色。他很形象地说,对各类学校的历史教学,应该是“小学是个点,初中是个线,高中是个面,大学是立体。”这几句话,言简意赅,很有启发性和指导意义。“小学是个点”。我体会这句话的意思是,对小学生讲历史,只要把历史上重大的事件或重要的人物,一点一点地,像讲故事那样,生动具体地讲给他们听就行了。不能讲些抽
Mr. Zheng Tianting is an internationally renowned historian in the Ming and Qing dynasties and an educator engaged in history teaching throughout his life. He coached more than 60 years, has rich teaching experience. He not only trained a large number of history teaching and scientific research personnel in colleges and universities, but also paid great attention to the history teaching in middle schools and primary schools. He has made very insightful comments on the history teaching in primary, secondary and primary schools and left a deep impression on me. Mr. Cheng believes that history teaching in primary, secondary and primary schools should have its own key points and distinctive features. He vividly said that historical teaching of all kinds of schools should be “primary school is a point, middle school is a line, high school is a face, the university is three-dimensional.” These words, concise, very enlightening and instructive. “Primary school is a point.” What I mean by this sentence is that speaking to the pupils about history can be vividly and concretely given to them as little as a story or a story by historical events or important personalities. Can not talk about pumping
