In recent years, although the English level of middle school students has improved year by year, there are still a large number of high school graduates who have poor English scores. In terms of the two graduating classes I taught this year, about one-third of the students’ English scores are often below 40 points, while those with poor listening and speaking skills are even more. Some can’t even read them open. According to the survey, most of the poor English classmates dropped out in the first and second grades and have been unable to attend classes since. The characteristic of English is that the entry phase is extremely important. Students learn Chinese because they listened to more and more, even if their grades were worse, they could catch up after hard work. Learning English is not the case. I didn’t learn to spell words at first, I didn’t master a certain number of words, I couldn’t read them later, I couldn’t read more and more, and at the beginning I had problems with speech and intonation.
