日本仓坊公司最近开发出了一种高速辨别传感器,能够在1‰s的时间内辨认出5种废塑料瓶的材料种类。这种传感器能够辨别用聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)、氯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯和聚苯乙烯制造的各种瓶子。研究人员发现,将远红外线照射到塑料瓶子上,不同的材料就会吸收特定的波长。他们利用这一原理开发了这种传感器。由于采用独自的信号处理技术,辨别速度得到了很大提高。这项成果已在日立造船公司的废料工厂进行了测试,取得了良好的效果。
Japan’s warehouse company recently developed a high-speed identification sensor, which can identify within 1 ‰ s five kinds of waste plastic bottle material types. This sensor is able to identify a wide range of bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), vinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene. The researchers found that the far-infrared radiation to plastic bottles, different materials will absorb a specific wavelength. They developed this sensor using this principle. Due to the use of its own signal processing technology, the recognition speed has been greatly improved. This result has been tested at Hitachi Shipbuilding’s scrap plant and achieved good results.
