菜青虫主要为害十字花科蔬菜作物,未见为害大葱的报道。然而,2002年10月中旬南郑县植保站在城关镇潘营村发现菜青虫严重蛀食成株期大葱。该地8个村民组的大葱,均遭受菜青虫为害,发生为害面积达1.92hm2,一般被害株率11%～25%,严重为害地块被害株率高达50%以上,平均百株有虫230头
Pieris main harm cruciferous vegetable crops, no reports of harmful green onions. However, in mid-October 2002, the plant protection station of Nanzheng County in Panying Village, Chengguan Town, discovered that Pieris rapae seriously eaten green onions. All the 8 Chinese villagers’ group of green onions suffered from Pieris rapae, with the area of 1.92hm2 and 11% ~ 25% of the total plant damage. The rate of damaged plants in seriously damaged plots was over 50% head
