It has been demonstrated that untreated patients with Hodgkin’s disease exhibit delayed skin degeneration, decreased E-tachycardia, and increased T cell proliferation. In addition, the number of T cells and their function in patients with Hodgkin’s disease who have received long-term survival by combination chemotherapy are also abnormal. Mechanisms to study functional impairment of T cells have focused more on the regulation of inhibitors of T cell responses in patients or on the inhibition of increased cell mass. This article studies the long-term survival of peripheral blood T cell function in patients with Hodgkin’s disease in order to determine the sensitivity of T cells to normal suppressor cells.
