高崇蘭編劉辰翁評點《集千家注杜工部詩集》首次將杜詩黄鶴繫年呈現爲文本編次形態,從而成爲第一次融合了宋人兩大杜集編次系統(魯訔編次與黄鶴繫年)的杜集本,此點尚未被研究者注意所及。因此,高崇蘭本可視爲宋人杜集編次之殿軍,同時也成爲元、明、清三代杜集編次的重要源頭,此乃高崇蘭本於元、明兩代最爲流行的重要原因,其影響及於近代以來東、西方學術中的杜詩研究。只有充分認識到高崇蘭編次本在杜集編次流變中的樞紐地位,才能真正厘清宋代以降的杜集編次譜系。
