对多子芋在自然低温下的耐冻试验表明，子孙芋从母芋上被掰开后，子孙芋的耐冻能力比母芋强；多子竿的子孙芋可以忍受0℃以下的短期低温；一般情况下，多子芋在室内可以安全越冬。
Frost resistance test of many sub-cultivars at natural low temperature shows that the descendability of many sub-cultivars is stronger than that of parent corns under the control of the parent taro.
