Wound healing is a complex biological process. It is a complex process involving multiple factors such as inflammatory cells, repair cells, extracellular matrix and cytokines, and is highly coordinated and mutually regulated. Among them, the role of fibroblasts in wound healing is particularly important. Diabetic skin vulnerable to injury, wound healing delayed or non-healing, has become a clinical hot and difficult to be solved. In recent years, the research on the effects of diabetes on fibroblasts and fibroblasts has been developed rapidly. The latest research found that the changes of fibroblasts in diabetes play an important role in the refractory of diabetic wounds. This article reviews this issue.
