United States Engelhark developed Symphony film. The film contains no pigments or dyes and relies entirely on the optical principle to create a rainbow-like effect. This soft, transparent film, with a small thickness, contains between 100 and 200 layers of two or more different polymers. With this structure, light enters the film from the outside, creating multiple reflections and interferences at different levels, thereby
