利用塑料大棚(简称大棚)调制干草就是使棚里的热空气通过青草,而使之干燥的一种方法。利用太阳能,成本比较低,又很少受气候的影响。因此,日本熊本县和三重县正在推广。其它县也进行实验,并打算向肉牛饲养中心普及。本法的特点:1.大棚可以防雨,叉可防霜,能减少养分的流失,使干草质量提高。用本法调制的干草可消化总营养(TDN)的含量比自然干燥法要高。2.棚内温度升高,使干燥空气流动。3.由于通风,可保持水分平衡,而达到干燥的目的。同时,也防止了青草堆积时引起的发酵。4.减少青草的脱叶和机械损失。5.比自然干燥法节省工时。6.不用燃料,仅需少量的电费。大棚干燥设备的结构1.大棚的结构如图1.图2。
