模因是新达尔文主义者Richard Dawkins提出的假设,用来解释人类文化进化的规律。模因与语言关系密切,学语言本身就是语言模因复制、传播的过程。二语习得环境中有符合模因条件的语言因子,将模因理论引入到二语习得研究中来是可行的。在第二语言学习中,第二语言信息作为语言模因进行复制和传播;第二语言习得过程是第二语言作为模因输入(模仿复制)和输出(表达传输)的过程。因此,探讨第二语言模因的习得过程及二语模因理论的解释力可以弥补普遍语法理论在解释第二语言习得方面的不足。
Memes are hypotheses developed by the new Darwinist Richard Dawkins to explain the laws of human cultural evolution. Memetics are closely related to language. Learning language itself is the process of copying and spreading language memes. It is feasible to introduce the memetic theory into the study of second language acquisition. In second language learning, the second language information is copied and propagated as a linguistic memes; the second language acquisition process is the process of the second language as memetic input (imitation copy) and output (expression transfer). Therefore, to explore the acquisition process of the second language memes and the explanatory power of the second language memetic theory can make up for the deficiencies of the general grammar theory in the interpretation of second language acquisition.
