应用耦合模理论、电光调制理论、保角变换法和镜像法,给出了分析聚合物定向耦合电光开关高频响应特性的功率传输矩阵新方法,导出了输出功率、上升时是、下降时间、开关时间及截止开关频率的表达式。为了获得较低的传输损耗、较好的阻抗匹配、较小的开关电压以及较高的截止频率,优化设计了器件的波导结构和电极结构。模拟结果表明,所设计器件的开关电压为1.457 V,耦合长度为4.374 mm,开关时间为32.8 ps,截止开关频率为114.7 GHz。与点匹配法的计算结果和实验结果的对比表明,该理论分析方法具有较高的精度。
A new method of power transfer matrix for analyzing the high frequency response characteristics of polymer-oriented electro-optical switch is given by means of coupled mode theory, electro-optic modulation theory, conformal mapping method and image method. The output power, rising time, falling time, Switching time and cut-off switching frequency expression. In order to obtain lower transmission loss, better impedance matching, smaller switching voltage and higher cut-off frequency, the waveguide structure and electrode structure of the device are optimized. The simulation results show that the designed device has a switching voltage of 1.457 V, a coupling length of 4.374 mm, a switching time of 32.8 ps and a cut-off frequency of 114.7 GHz. The comparison between the calculated results and the experimental results shows that the theoretical analysis method has higher accuracy.
