1993年春在白菜型油菜品种“浠水白”中发现了几株雄性不育株。遗传研究结果表明,“浠水白”雄性不育株为细胞质雄性不育,所有调查过的白菜型油菜品种(系)均是这种雄性不育的保持系。与pol CMS和nap CMS的保持系和恢复系的测交结果表明,“浠水白”雄性不育与nap CMS具有相同的恢保关系,与pol CMS具有完全不同的恢保关系。EcoR I、HindⅢ、Pst I和Sal I四种限制性内切酶的线粒体DNA酶切图谱及以atp6和orf222作探针的RFLP分析结果显示,“浠水白”的细胞质与nap CMS相同,而与pol CMS不同。
In the spring of 1993, several male sterile plants were found in the cabbage type “Xishui White”. The results of genetic studies showed that “Xishui White” male sterility strain was cytoplasmic male sterile, and all investigated cabbage rape varieties (lines) were the male sterile maintainer lines. The results of crossbreeding with maintainers and restorers of pol CMS and nap CMS showed that male sterility of Xishuibai had the same restorer relationship with nap CMS and had completely different relationship with pol CMS. The mitochondrial DNA digestion patterns of four restriction enzymes EcoR I, Hind III, Pst I and Sal I and the RFLP analysis using probes atp6 and orf222 showed that the cytoplasm of Xishuibai was the same as that of nap CMS Unlike pol CMS.
