The overall standard of the new history curriculum is to conduct civic education and humanistic quality education for students, cultivate students’ spirit of innovation, social practice and social responsibility, promote students’ social development, and lay a foundation for students to form a correct world outlook, outlook on life, and values. For the purpose of effectively organizing historical classroom teaching under the new curriculum standards, this article mainly elaborates on the following four points: teachers need to change the traditional teaching concept, improve the teaching model teachers should create a relaxed and cooperative learning environment, and mobilize the students’ subjective skills.
