美国石油协会AP I的最新标准规定,石油管材在生产、加工和投入使用之前要进行全长度厚度测量。常规超声波测厚仪是逐点测量方法,缺乏对整个管材连续测量的能力。本文研究的超声波脉冲连续测厚系统,包含多通道测厚单元,能连续测量管材厚度。系统实现对管材全长厚度测量。主要介绍了超声波脉冲连续测厚的原理和系统的各种硬件组成,针对系统的一些不足,提出了一些改进措施。多通道连续测厚系统成功应用在管材制造生产线和对石油钻杆的检测上。
American Petroleum Institute API’s latest standard states that full-thickness thickness measurements of petroleum tubing should be made before it is manufactured, processed and put into service. Conventional ultrasonic thickness gauge is a point-by-point measurement method, the lack of continuous measurement of the entire pipe capacity. The ultrasonic pulse continuous thickness measurement system studied in this paper, including multi-channel thickness measurement unit, can continuously measure the thickness of the pipe. System to achieve the full length of the pipe thickness measurement. This paper mainly introduces the principle of ultrasonic pulse continuous thickness measurement and various hardware components of the system. According to some shortcomings of the system, some measures for improvement are put forward. Multi-channel continuous thickness measurement system successfully used in pipe manufacturing production lines and the detection of oil drill pipe.
