Clinical experience as well as experimental and clinical studies have demonstrated that olive Olea europaea leaves have antihypertensive effects. At the beginning of the 20th century, oleuropeoside was isolated from olive leaves. The experiments reported in this paper aimed to confirm the antihypertensive effect of olive leaves and to determine the role of vascular endothelial cells in drug-induced vasorelaxation. At the same time, it is intended to determine whether the relaxation effect is related to olive buckwheat.
