板极环缝电渣焊接去年十一月份在天津试验成功,这是我国掌握和推广世界尖端技术——电渣焊接中的又一创举。这项工作是天津水轮发电机厂和天津大学密切合作下试验成功的。它是结合15000瓩水轮机的试制任务,把整体锻造的主轴改为分段铸钢,用环缝电渣焊联接起来。在掌握板极电渣焊和熔化机咀电渣焊的基础上,同志们发挥了敢想敢干的精神,提出用这两种方法和简单的设备来焊接环形焊缝。经过一个多月的努力,首先试验成功了板极环缝电渣焊接,为厚壁的环形焊缝应用板极电渣焊开辟了道路。
Electrode slag plate arc welding in Tianjin in November last year, the successful trial, which is to master and promote the world’s cutting-edge technology - electroslag welding another initiative. This work was successfully tested by Tianjin Hydrogenerator Factory and Tianjin University. After more than a month of hardworking, the successful trial of plate-electrode arc welding succeeded in electroslag welding, which opened the way for the application of plate-electrode electroslag welding in the thick-walled annular weld.
