通信网络的成本及其性能是相铺相成的,也是运营商最为关注的。即如何在不增加通信网络成本的前提下保证网络可以提供满足用户要求的性能。以无线局域网为例,无线接入点的布局不仅关系着网络的投资成本还由于对接入点的不同选择,网络的业务负载会产生不同的结果,进而又影响着网络性能的稳定。因此,在对无线局域网的成本优化时可以考虑通过对无线接入点的优化布局,实现网络成本与网络性能的最优化。
