稻水象甲 Lissorhoptus oryzophilusKuschel 原分布于加拿大、美国以及墨西哥原野和山林中,其幼虫和成虫均能危害水稻,为美国水稻上最重要的害虫之一。自1976年5月传入日本以来,蔓延十分迅速,到1983年几乎扩展到全境,发生面积约占日本水稻种植总面积15%,给水稻生产造成相当程度的损失。据估计,一般减产10—20%,受害严重田块减产50%。由于该虫能营孤雌生殖,适应性强,其成虫有可能借人为的移动(据 Rice water weevil Lissorhoptus oryzophilusKuschel was originally distributed in Canada, the United States and Mexico wilderness and mountain forests, the larvae and adults can harm rice, one of the most important pests on the United States rice.
