一般而言,人文精神乃是指对主体地位的关注以及对主体价值观的认可。可以说,人文精神以主体的存在意义为其关注对象,此种精神表现出平等、公平、正义等伦理学要素的积极回应。从我国传统文化内涵层面来看,历代的先贤均对人文精神推崇备至。人文精神是人本教育的核心,人本教育是一种“以人为本”的教育,它把人格的完善作为教育的最终目标,突出人文科学的价值,并将人文教育贯穿于教育的全部过程,使教育人性化、人格化,强调学生要有自我思考、感受和发现的能力,还强调人的自由、尊严和人格,重视学习者的自发性和主动性及发展潜能。在高校美术教学中渗透人文精神,是美术教育的核心,也是美术教育必经的路径。
