H8WA型金属支柱是矿山不可缺少的支护设备,但该产品的主要部件活柱长期以来一直存在着焊缝开裂问题。这样就严重地危害矿工的生命安全,同时也给检验工作带来不便。活柱是山两槽钢(见图)焊接而成,材料为34SiMn。裂纹是在调直后出现的,一般情况下有10~20%的活柱出现裂纹,有时达30~400%。剖开已出现裂纹的活柱可以看出:呈黑色的裂纹绝大多数出现在焊缝端部(简称端部裂纹),裂纹长约20~40毫米,中间发黑的较少,且长度较短。呈黄色的裂纹出
