Objective To follow-up Shenzhen anti-HCV ELISA results were reactive, RIBA results for the uncertain blood donors, to study the outcome of HCV, provide a theoretical basis and scientific for the recall of anti-HCV ELISA reactivity blood donors in accordance with. Methods Thirty-two blood donors who had undetermined anti-HCV RIBA status 2 years ago were followed up for anti-HCV ELISA, HCV-RNA (NAT), ALT and HCV viral load detection of blood samples. Add RIBA confirmation test. Results The blood samples from 32 patients were reactive in 6 anti-HCV ELISA samples, including 1 case of elevated ALT, positive HCV-RNA and viral load, and 3 cases confirmed by RIBA. CONCLUSIONS: The blood donors with uncertain anti-HCV RIBA results are still at high risk for blood donation and have a certain risk of transmitting HCV blood transfusion.
