言语交际是人类最基本的交际形式之一。为了达到一定的交际目的,交际者会选择不同的交际手段或策略,隐喻就是其中最常用的一种。本文首先从隐喻的产生及功能两方面来逐一分析和探讨高校英语教学中隐喻能力培养的意义。之后通过一系列教学实验和调查的结果来阐述了当下高校英语教学中隐喻认知能力培养的现状,指出了欠缺和不足之处。最后,结合隐喻认知的特点,指出了英语教学中隐喻认知能力培养的方向。
Verbal communication is one of the most basic forms of human communication. In order to achieve a certain purpose of communication, communicators will choose different means of communication or strategy, metaphor is one of the most commonly used. This article first analyzes and explores the significance of metaphorical competence cultivation in college English teaching from two aspects of the production and function of metaphor. After a series of teaching experiments and surveys, the author expounds the current situation of the cultivation of metaphorical cognition in college English teaching and points out the shortcomings and deficiencies. Finally, combining the characteristics of metaphorical cognition, we point out the direction of cultivating metaphorical cognition in English teaching.
