In 2009, Beijing’s GDP exceeded one trillion yuan and its per capita GDP exceeded 10,000 U.S. dollars. Based on the experience of international urban development, after the per capita GDP has exceeded 9,000 U.S. dollars, the increase in income directly raises higher demands on living.
