In “Rules and Punishment,” Foucault explores the power strategy of capitalist society. Through disciplinary discipline, the bourgeoisie has achieved the level-graded treatment of space, the continuous micro-control of life activities, the construction of social progress and creation of individuals, and the consolidation of forces in a new way. The detailed ontology of such bourgeois politics is very different from the macroscopic objectification of traditional power operation. Its coercive force is invisible but extremely powerful. The “natural state” of living individual among the living entities is merely an appearance.
