该区系一九八二年检查化探异常时发现的一个新矿点，通过工程揭露，在地表见有辉锡矿石。为了寻找深部隐伏矿体和圈定地质体的范围，在该区投入了1∶1万的物化探普查，电法采用中间梯度法扫面，并利用其测深、联剖、自电等方法对所发现的物化探异常进行了剖面研究，对异常进行了综合研究，并对有意义的异常进行了深部验证。
